Our cakes are based on the English and American cake-making tradition, a key principle of which is that a cake can be decorated over a longer period of time until it is perfect. This is made possible by carefully selected ingredients and by avoiding perishable foods such as cream. The basis for this is well-baked sponge cake layers and a buttercream made from pure butterfat. The sugar in the cake, together with the pure fat, provides natural preservation without the need for added preservatives. This allows for a longer shelf life compared to traditional cream cakes and also means that the cakes are best stored at room temperature, which is when they taste their best.
A major difference between our cakes and the more traditional English cakes is the continental âtouchâ. To crown the masterpiece, the cakes are covered with a delicate almond icing instead of the typical English âsugar pasteâ (in English: fondant). For this reason, all our cakes are essentially almond cakes.

Multi-tiered cakes
The multi-tiered cakes are individually packaged to ensure safe delivery. When they arrive, the cakes must therefore be stacked on top of one another. Underneath each of the smaller cakes, you will find a matching golden cake base. Simply lift the cake with the base and place it on top of the larger cake (see below).

These little cake toppers are perfect for decorating your cake. Theyâre very easy to use: simply place the cake topper â for example, with the birthday boy or girlâs name â directly in front of the cake or on the surface of the cake itself. What makes them special is that you can not only lay the cake topper flat but also stick it upright into your cake. You can order the personalised cake topper directly alongside your cake. Marble cake / cupcakes
Our marble pound cake is beaten for a long time until fluffy, ensuring our marble cupcakes taste absolutely delicious. We make the marble cake using chocolate and vanilla, giving the sponge its beautiful marbled effect. What makes our marble tarts special is your uploaded photo, which is printed onto fondant and decorates your little tarts. The almond marzipan
We source the fine base for our toppers from our partner Odense-Marcipan in Denmark, which has been supplying the Danish Royal Family since 1961, amongst others. This premium manufacturer supplies us with a unique blend of various ingredients, including almonds from California, which offer a refined taste with a delicately nutty flavour. The cake toppers are printed using food-grade ink. This is done using our own specially developed and patented printing machine, which guarantees both optimal results and gentle, hygienic handling of the topper. Sharp images, clear contours and perfect colours, combined with an exceptional taste â this is what characterises our products, which everyone loves!
Odense Fondant
We also source our fondant from our Danish partner, Odense. It impresses with its quality and outstanding print results, even on the smallest print areas. For our small baked goods, such as macarons, brownies or tartlets, we therefore use Odense fondant to achieve optimal print results even on the very smallest decorations.
Food colouring
The colour pigments have been specially selected to ensure an optimal printing solution and colour reproduction without compromising on taste or food safety standards. The deineTorte.de colours undergo the strictest controls and are EU and FDA certified. Our food colouring is, of course, safe to eat.

Storage & Shelf Life
The cakes, pastries and cake toppers should be stored at room temperature.
Please do not place the baked goods in the fridge for storage.
Exception in summer when temperatures are too high. In this case, it is best to remove them from the fridge up to 2 hours before consumption.
Our cakes, cake toppers and pastries are freshly prepared daily and dispatched on the same day to an address of your choice. Once your order arrives, you can store it unrefrigerated for at least 7 days.
Allergy Information
All cakes may contain traces of nuts, shell fruits, sulphites and dairy products.

In addition, an allergen label will be attached to the side of your parcel, containing all the important information about ingredients and allergens.
For those with coeliac disease, we also used to have gluten-free cakes, which are unfortunately not available at the moment.
Frequently asked questions about our cakes
Do you have sugar-free cakes?
We do not currently offer sugar-free cakes.
However, we are constantly working on new recipes and expanding our range to cater for an even wider variety of dietary needs in the future.
How should I store the cake?
Your cake should be stored at room temperature. Please do not put it in the fridge, as this may cause the colouring on the cake to run when it thaws.
How long do the cakes keep?
Our cakes are freshly prepared daily by our pastry chefs and dispatched to the address of your choice on the same day. Once the cake arrives, you can store it unrefrigerated for at least 7 days. The shelf life of the large XLâXXXL cakes may be shorter.
Cake toppers
A cake topper gives you another way to personalise your cake. You can enter a short text (up to 40 characters) which will then be printed on the plaque. The plaque is made of edible fondant. You can order the cake plaque with any cake and will find it by clicking on âFurther optionsâ.
Do you use gelatine in your cakes?
Our cakes themselves are made without gelatine.
Please note, however, that individual decorative elements (e.g. sugar pearls) may contain gelatine.
How long do the tartlets keep?
Our tartlets, cupcakes and the like are freshly prepared daily by our pastry chefs and dispatched to the address of your choice on the same day. Once your order arrives, you can store it at room temperature for at least 7 days.
Can I try the cakes too?

Is there alcohol in your cakes?
We do not use alcohol in the production of our cakes. However, our macarons may contain traces. You will find a detailed list of ingredients and nutritional values for each product.
