DHL Parcel Shipping

Shipping costs for Germany, Austria, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, France, and Denmark are €5.90. Delivery takes approximately 2 business days for orders placed before 3 PM. Exceptions are our large cakes (Photo Cake XL, XXL, and XXXL), which require approximately 6-8 business days. DHL Parcel delivery may vary by +/- 2 business days from your desired date. Delivery usually occurs between 9 AM and 5 PM.

Express Shipping

Express shipping costs for Germany are €9.90 per order, reducing delivery time to 1 business day for orders placed before 3 PM. If you select the DHL Express Saturday Delivery option, shipping costs €14.90. Orders placed by Friday 3 PM are usually delivered the next business day. For multi-tier wedding cakes, express shipping is free for deliveries within Germany. DHL/UPS Express delivers precisely on the desired date, usually in the morning. The DHL/UPS Express option with delivery before 12 PM costs €12.90, ensuring delivery between 8 AM and 12 PM. We use both DHL and UPS to guarantee the best shipping experience.

Pickup

Pickup is available if you choose the "Self-Pickup" shipping option between 2 PM and 5 PM on your desired date. For orders placed for the next day, pickup is possible between 4 PM and 5 PM. If you need an earlier pickup, please call us at 0221-22283817 to check availability.

Delivery Time

Your cake can be delivered after 1 (DHL Saturday Express), 2 (DHL Express), or approx. 3 business days (DHL Parcel), except XL, XXL, XXXL photo cakes (6-8 business days). During checkout, you can select a desired delivery date. DHL Parcel delivery may vary by +/- 1 business day. Self-pickup is available on your requested date. DHL Parcel shipping labels are created one day before our master bakers start preparing your cake, so you may receive tracking information a day before shipment.

Packaging

Your cake is shipped in a specially designed cake box to ensure maximum safety and quality. The golden insert completes the unique packaging concept.

Can I pick up my order myself?

Do you also deliver on public holidays?

Unfortunately, parcels are not delivered on statutory holidays. A list of holidays in Germany is provided below:

How can I track my shipment?

There are two options to track your shipment:

1. We will send you a shipping confirmation with a link to the tracking page.
2. You can also view your order in your customer account. Tracking information will appear as soon as the shipping label has been created. You can log in to your account even if you didn’t register before ordering. Just enter the same email used for the order and the verification code sent by email.

When will my cake be delivered?

During the ordering process, you can select a desired delivery date for your cake. If you choose Express shipping, your order will be delivered exactly on the chosen date. With Express delivery before 12 PM, your package will arrive in the morning between 8 AM and 12 PM. With standard DHL Paket, delivery may vary by +/- 2 business days. DHL Paket usually delivers between 8 AM and 6 PM. Most cakes can be delivered the next (Express) or the second next business day (DHL Paket). Only our larger cakes (Photo Cake XL, XXL, XXXL) have a delivery time of approximately 6-8 business days.

Can I have the cake delivered to a DHL Packstation?

Yes, we can deliver your order to a DHL Packstation. You need to register with DHL for a Packstation.

Enter your delivery address as follows:

• Post number in the address addition
• Packstation as the street
• Packstation number as the house number

Can I deliver to a different address when paying by invoice?

If you order via Klarna invoice, the billing address must match the delivery address. Delivery to a different address is unfortunately not possible.

Is weekend delivery possible?

Yes, with DHL Saturday Express you can have your cake delivered on a Saturday. DHL usually delivers in the morning. No delivery is available on Sundays or public holidays.

Can I track my delivery using a tracking number?

Yes, as soon as your order is shipped, you will receive an email with your tracking number. This allows you to check the current location of your shipment at any time.
